Good afternoon, parents!

We had a wonderful first full week of classes. In Social Studies, students discovered their “global address” and found their home, city/town, province, country, and continent on Google Earth. They also compared and contrasted maps and globes. In Art, students were introduced to Kandinsky and they created their own version of his Color Study. And in Math, students reviewed concepts such as the commutative property of addition and multiplication. Sounds impressive, right?

We have a full four days ahead, with learning about internet safety in Digital Literacy, setting character goals in Enrichment, and defining a “thick” question for investigating in Genius Hour.
