Greetings! We have had a great start to 2019 in our grade two learning studio. I appreciate your efforts in having your child to school on time and ready to learn. Just a quick reminder to ensure your child has a hat, mits, and warm coat before sending them off for the day. As the temperatures drop, children wont be able to go out without these items.

Fancy Day

Right before Christmas break we earned our final letter towards our class Fancy Day party. This Friday, January 18th, we will dress up fancy as a class and enjoy a fancy party over lunch time. If everyone could send in a small snack to be shared with the class that would be great.  We look forward to celebrating this class accomplishment!

Skating

Although an official permission slip outlining all the details of the skating events for elementary will be sent home with your child in the future, I wanted to take a moment to give you the heads up that we will once again be participating in these activities throughout the months of February and March. Students that wish to participate in skating must have their own skates and helmet.  Students are not obligated to participate, however should they wish to, please make arrangements for them to acquire the proper skating equipment.  Elementary students in grades 1 – 6 will skate three times throughout the winter months.
