Greetings! Happy Sunday! Take note below of important information regarding our Grade Two class.
Test Folders
On Wednesday I will be sending home test folders. Please review all that has been assessed, sign below the date, and send back your child’s folder. This is a great opportunity to keep up with your child’s learning and to provide extra understanding in Math and Language content.
Reading Homework
I have enjoyed hearing about all the different books your children are reading at home. Please note that while we do not have a set book or number of pages, students are expected to read every night for homework. To help with fluency, please have your child read out loud to you. Amazing progress will be seen through this partnership.
ACSI Convention – No School
Each member of the GCS team is committed to professional excellence and seeks to improve their teaching skills through professional development and the implementation of 21st century pedagogy. We are thankful for the opportunity to participate in the ACSI Teacher’s Conference in Moncton this coming Thursday and Friday. There will be no classes for students on those days.
Online Lunch Program
We are looking to launch our new online ordering and payment platform for our milk and lunch program within the next week. You will receive an email early next week that will prompt you to create an account. Please watch for the email as the online platform will be the only method available for ordering within the lunch program. If you have any questions, please contact Selena Ellis at office@gcspei.ca
