As we finish out the final weeks of third quarter at GCS, we are also gearing up for a very busy portion of our school year.  Please take note of the following announcements:

Project Based Learning Supplies & Survey:

Students have been assigned the task of gathering a selection of unused take-out supplies from local restaurants-  food containers, plates, wrappers, cups, lids, straws, and cutlery.  We would sincerely appreciate your support in helping us gather these supplies before the end of next week.  The students are also requesting your help to complete a short survey to help them gather some key statistics.  Please visit the following link to complete the survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfqYIkX9_gJ5ywZbtvA3ccqnzzxjZY1mPX7iRWkbZ-JOULpiA/viewform

Re-enrollment Month

April is re-enrollment month at GCS.  As our school community continues to grow, it is increasingly important for families to pay their registration fees as early as possible.  Please see Ms. Fanning in the office to make your $200 re-enrollment payment.

Spring Training Camps

In preparation for upcoming athletic programs at GCS, students in grades 3-6 are invited to participate in Spring training camps to refine their fitness skills, strength, and endurance.  Camps will run Mondays and Thursdays until April 11, from 3:15 – 4:00 in the school gymnasium.

Basketball Camp

We are thankful for our parent volunteers who have committed to running 2 basketball camps this year.  Camps will run on Wednesday’s beginning on April 17- May 15.  The grade 1-4 camp will be held at GCS from 3:15-4:15 with Mrs Able, while students in grades 5-8 will require drives to ICS to participate in their camp from 3:30-5:00 with Mr Rancourt.  More information regarding these camps will be sent home later this week.

Track & Field Training

Mondays and Fridays, starting April 15,  Track and Field practices will be held from 3:15-4:00 at GCS.  Students in grades 3-12 are invited to participate and should come dressed in proper fitness attire and sneakers.

Family Fun Run

Attention Knights! Are you ready to get fit and have some fun? The GCS Family Fun Run is coming up very soon! Grace Christian School will be hosting their annual Family Fun Run, which is a 5k running/walking event that encourages physical fitness in our school and brings the community together, on Saturday, May 4th. There will be registration forms sent home with your children over the coming weeks, with early registration resulting in a discounted price. Please return the form and money to your students’ homeroom teachers. All the proceeds will go towards our Plant a Seed Campaign. We hope to see you all there at the GCS Family Fun Run!
