Christmas Community Outreach Project
Throughout the month of December, every GCS student will participate in special community outreach projects that will allow them to move their focus from themselves to the needs of others. This year our class will be making Christmas treat bags for the soup kitchen to hand out on Christmas Eve. We ask that each student brings one kind of candy of their choosing amounting to a 3-4 dollar bag from Bulk Barn. Thank you for your help! We will be making the treat bags this Wednesday, December 11th. *Please have your child’s contribution of candy brought to school by this date.
This Week in Grade Two
Spelling – List 11
Language – We will be presenting our Christmas themed short stories.
Math – We will be reviewing time and putting four digit numbers into order from least to greatest.
Social Studies – We will continue exploring the Interior Plains region.
