And here we are, finishing off the last three weeks of school! What a blessing and privilege it has been to work with your children over the year and to be part of their spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth! I look forward to seeing how God mold and will use them in the future.

ACSI Track Meet

This Wednesday, June 5, students in grades 3-6 will be travelling by bus to UPEI to compete in the annual ACSI Track Meet. We will leave school at 9:00 AM and return to school by 3:00 PM. Please pack a lunch and have students take a water bottle. Students should wear running shoes, their GCS T-shirt, layers of clothing (in case it is cold), and sunscreen (in case it is hot!). Parents are welcome to join us for this day, to cheer on their children

Sports Awards Ceremony

You are invited to join us on Thursday, June 8th, from 2:00 – 3:00, as we celebrate our athletes and coaches and all they have accomplished throughout the past school year.  Go Knights!

ESL Living Wax Museum

The ESL students have been working hard on their presentations for the Living Wax Museum. Presentations to the public will be from 2:00 – 2:45 on Friday, June 7, with an awards ceremony at 2:45. Parents of ESL students, please also note that the last day for after school ESL tutoring is June 6.

Year-end Trip to Camp

On Friday, June 14th, students in grades 4-6 will be travelling to Canoe Cove Christian Camp for their year-end trip.  More information in a permission form will come to you shortly!

Library Book Hunt

We’re on the search for any missing library books! Please ensure that they are returned as soon as possible so that Mrs. Biech can close up library for the year.

We have been a bit slower completing our Social Studies Travel Brochures than I originally planned. However, presentation dates will be assigned tomorrow. Also, students are encouraged to keep reading and summarizing their independent novels in preparation for their final in-class reading project.
