Dear GCS Grade 6 Families,
We’re nearing the finish line!
In Social Studies this week, students submitted their timelines. Thank you for working with your children on that! We have now moved into our final project, a video newscast. Students have picked their historical place or event on PEI and will submit their research fact sheet on Monday.
In Math this week, we started studying compound measures. There are very few days left of new math content! I am sure the students are excited about this.
Grade 6 Graduation:
Parents are invited to celebrate the graduation of our Grade 6 class with us on Wednesday, June 9th at 9 am. Mrs. MacNeill has sent out an email regarding how to get your tickets for this event. Ticket booking will close 24 hours before the graduation event. Please check your email or contact Mr. Olsen via email to receive the information again.
Grad Attire:
Please take note of the dress code for the grad ceremony:
Ladies in dresses to the knees, with no straps showing, and not low cut.
Gentlemen in a dress shirt, dress pants, and a tie– no jeans, please.
