Hello to you all! I hope that everyone was able to enjoy the past week, and that you are now ready to return to school.

What’s Going On?

This week we will be continuing to work hard to catch up in our lessons (due to the time lost in those strange couple of weeks leading up tp March Break)! In Math, we will continue exploring equivalent fractions, now learning about reducing fractions. In Language Arts, we will move along in our unit on simple, compound, and complex sentences, as well as continue reading Secret in the Maple Tree. In Social Studies, we will begin our Province Project! Each student is responsible for one of Canada’s provinces (or territories) and will create an informative poster to be presented to the class.

It’s Spring!

Please be sure that your child comes to school prepared for the temperature/forecast of the day. This is a very sloppy, muddy time at school, and everyone needs to be dressed for it!

Food Donations

We are currently collecting non-perishable food items here at GCS.  If you have anything that you feel you could contribute, please send the item(s) in with your child.
