With Islander Day Weekend approaching, please take some time to enjoy an extra day with your family and friends celebrating the blessing of living in such a beautiful part of our country. There will be no class on Monday, February 19th.
Future City Travel – Mrs. MacNeill
Please keep me in your prayers throughout the weekend and into next week as I travel with 3 of my former students to represent PEI and Canada at this year’s Future City Competition in Washington, DC. I will be away from Friday, Feb. 16 – Wednesday, Feb. 21. The students will be working with Mr. Wood during this time. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via email, or Mr. Wood at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Assignments & Assessments
We have hit a very busy time of the school year with assignments and special projects due within a short time frame, however I have been incredibly encouraged to see my students working diligently to complete them in a timely fashion, and most impressively, without complaining. Students have been provided detailed outlines for these projects, however should they need further clarification of expectations, please contact the appropriate teacher via email.
Tuesday, Feb 20: Book Report Project (Mrs. Biech)
Thurs, Feb 22: Government Scrapbook Project (Mrs. MacNeill)
Fri, Feb. 23: Science Presentation & Project (Mr. Wood)
Students have also been asked to complete the next step of their writing assignment for Miss Jenkins for Tuesday, Feb 20th.
