Greetings! Happy Sunday! As we begin our second week of the new year, to ensure success, please have you child to school early enough for them to begin the day with the rest of the class at 9:00 AM.
Spelling Homework Reminder
As we have arrived in the storm day season, please remind your child to practice their spelling list every night even on storm days. We will have a spelling test every Friday unless we have a PD day, in which case we will postpone that quiz till the following Friday.
This Week in Grade Two
Spelling – List 13
Language – We will be testing on adjectives and will learn to recognize adverbs.
Math – We will be reviewing telling time an hour later and earlier.
Social Studies – We will continue exploring the Great Lakes Region.
