Enrique is driven by his sense of wonderment to ask questions, seek answers, define problems and discover solutions that are firmly rooted in Biblical truth while applying the concepts of science, technology, engineering, and math. He embraces every opportunity to enrich his learning using a variety of technological tools or resources, and is not afraid to think outside the box to introduce a new idea, method, or innovative solution. Enrique placed 3rd overall at the Provincial Science Fair three years ago, and was awarded the 2015 Dave Wessel Award for his passion for science. Enrique was the 2017 recipient of the Laura Mattson Sports Award.
