Greetings! I hope everyone is enjoying this long weekend and taking the time to remember those who have fought and are still fighting for peace in our country. We do not have school tomorrow (Monday, November 12th) as it is a holiday or Friday with parent teaching interviews taking place. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday.
Shoeboxes
Please be reminded that Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are due to come in this Wednesday, November 15th. We will collect them all in chapel and then pray over them before they are sent to the Ukraine. What a wonderful way to show compassion and love as we head into the holiday season!
Report Cards and Sign-up for Parent-Teacher Conferences
Report cards will be going home on Thursday, November 16th. The communication form will need to be signed and both it and the envelope returned to me. However, you can keep the actual report card for your records.
Also, for those of you who have not done so, please remember to sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences happening this week on Thursday, November 16th, from 6:00-9:00 PM and on Friday, November 17th, from 10:00-12:00 AM. Sign-up sheets are in the church foyer where the students now enter.
Warm clothes
We encourage everyone to check the weather in order to ensure your child is sent to school with appropriate clothing for the weather. I think it is safe to say that we will be needing warm coats, hats, and mittens from now on.
