Hello GCS families!
With only two weeks left until Christmas break, I am thankful for how well our year is going! This week we will be continuing our work on our Social Studies projects, learning how to reduce fractions in Math, and creating some Christmas crafts in Art.
THANK YOU! Christmas Outreach Project
Last week, GCS students had the opportunity to bring in a variety of gifts to give to the 120 seniors living in the Prince Edward Home in Charlottetown. Our class brought in a load of bath and body products for the residents. I want to thank everyone who contributed to this outreach and let you know how impactful your gift was to the Prince Edward Home.
Coming Up… Christmas Theme Days and Half-Day Christmas Party
Stay tuned for more information on our upcoming Christmas Theme Days! Throughout our final week of classes, students from K-12 are encouraged to participate in a variety of fun dress-up days. On Friday, we will be having a Christmas party from 8:45-12:00. Students are to be picked up at 12:00 and then can enjoy their Christmas break.
Christmas Production
We invite you this holiday season to join the elementary students of GCS as we present the real story of Christmas in our first ever online Christmas production – Make Room in Your Heart. Be on the lookout for this video which will be posted on December 11.
