Grade 5 families,
We have had a great start back to school this past week. Students are progressing well on their Science Fair projects and have started working on algebraic equations in Math class. In Language Arts, we are into chapter 5 of our novel study of Old Yeller and have been learning about plot, diction, mood, protagonists, and antagonists. In Social Studies we’ve begun a look at Ancient Rome and its contributions to modern society.
