It’s time to head back to class after a week of family fun and relaxation. I look forward to hearing about all my students’ Spring Break adventures as we return to complete the remainder of the third quarter. Please take note of the following announcements:
Family Fun Run
Attention Knights! Are you ready to get fit and have some fun? The GCS Family Fun Run is coming up very soon! Grace Christian School will be hosting their annual Family Fun Run, which is a 5k running/walking event that encourages physical fitness in our school and brings the community together, on Saturday, May 4th. There will be registration forms sent home with your children over the coming weeks, with early registration resulting in a discounted price. Please return the form and money to your students’ homeroom teachers. All the proceeds will go towards our Plant A Seed Campaign. We hope to see you all there at the GCS Family Fun Run!
Mathetics March Math-ness Update
The last week of March Math-ness has begun! I encourage students to tackle as many activities as they can to earn points and improve their math skills. As of Week #2, Grace Christian School was in 18th place of all the schools competing in Canada. We will know by Tuesday how our students fared over March Break with the standings for Week #3. Also, students keep in mind that the Mathlete with the highest number of points in each class will earn a prize.
