Grade 5 families, 

The 4th quarter is off to a great start. Students have begun developing their skills in T-ball and track and field events. In Language Arts, students have learned about what to expect through the job application process and created an infographic resume. Students will be learning about effective speech writing this week. In Math students finished a section on dividing with fractions and will begin studying Geometry this week. In Social Studies, students have been working diligently on their Medieval lapbook projects with Ms. Super. 

Number the Stars Novel Study

In Language Arts, students have been reading through the novel Number the Stars and completing daily journal entries with summaries and answers to reflection questions. Below is this week’s schedule for readings and journal entries.
