I hope you’ve all had a wonderful long-weekend. As mentioned in an email last week from Mr. Biech, June 5th will be the last day of online classes. With only three weeks left of the school year I am proud of all my students and grateful to the families who continue to partner with us at GCS. Here is the schedule for the week. Remember to check Seesaw every morning for more details about the activities for that day.

This week’s schedule:

Monday
No online classes

Tuesday
Math: Pages 237-238 (Comparing)
Language Arts: Read your story. After writing something, it’s helpful to return to it a little later with a fresh mind to see where you could improve. Students will record and upload a video of themselves reading their stories to a Seesaw Activity. Feel free to practice as many times as you’d like before recording.
Social Studies: The telephone.
Physical Education: Remember to be participating and in recording at least 20 minutes of physical activity every day to log at the end of the week. If you haven’t submitted last week’s activity log, go back and do that today.

Wednesday
Math: Pages 239-240 (Finding a Part of a Whole)
Language Arts: Revising Short Stories. Now that you’ve re-read your story, you may have seen something that needs your attention. Students will be revising and submitting a final copy of their short stories to Google Classroom.
Bible: Students will watch a short video called, God’s Story: Daniel. Please find this assignment in the activity tab, along with instructions of how to respond.

Thursday
