We are down to days in our countdown and there are some busy days ahead!
Field Trip
This Friday, grades 4 and 5 will travel to Brackley Beach in the morning. We will stay at the beach till noon and then travel to Victoria Park where we will eat our lunch from Wendy’s and play till the end of the school day. Last Friday, permission slips went home. The cost for our trip this year is $10. This includes travel and lunch expenses. Please make sure you child chooses a lunch option noted on the permission slip so we can have the order placed early. You may pay with cash or e-transfer. If you are choosing to e-transfer, send it to tuition@gcspei.ca with a your child’s name and field trip noted.
Students will want to bring a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, water (or other drink), as well as a few other snacks to eat throughout the day.
Daily Class Work
While the end of the year is drawing near and attention spans are getting shorter, we still have some work to complete before the end. Students are given time each day to complete the work but if they are not utilizing that time, uncompleted work may be sent home. Please see that your child has this work completed and it makes it difficult for them to keep up the next day. Students will not want to miss out on the “fun” things during the last couple weeks because they are behind on their daily work.

June 15 – Last full day of classes
June 16 – (NO SCHOOL)
June 17 – School Closing (Half Day)
