Dear GCS Grade 6 Families,
We’ve finished quarter 3!
Congratulate your Grade 6 students on getting this far through the year. We only have about 2 months left!
In Social Studies, we continued our preparation for our first constructive speeches. Students are working in class to take their research and make a two-minute speech.
In Math, we started our discussion of the geometry of circles. We will continue in our geometry unit for the coming weeks. Our next unit will be an introduction to algebra.
Important Dates:
Start of Q4 – Monday, April 12th
Parent-Teacher Interviews (Elementary) – 5-7 pm on Thursday, April 15th
No school – Friday, April 16th
