Hello Parents,
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I have to say that I am proud of all the grade two students who worked so hard to complete the CATs last week. Because of the CATs, our spelling test for list #21 was postponed until tomorrow.
This Week in Grade Two
Language: Students will continue to read “The Sword in the Tree”. They will also review phonics charts 11-13.
Math: Students will continue to learn about multiplication (one and zero as a factor) and subtraction with borrowing from the tens, hundreds, and thousands place.
Social Studies: Students will travel to the Canadian Shield Region in their “Amazing Race Canada”.
