Dear Parents,
I hope you enjoyed the lovely taste of spring in the air this weekend. This week, we will be learning about adding five numbers, 2-digit subtraction (without regrouping), new special phonics sounds, studying the province of Saskatchewan, baby animals, and an exciting art project for a colouring competition. If you happen to have some extra potting soil or some bean seeds to spare, please let me know. I’d like students to be able to begin growing some in class to later plant at home.
Homework: Students will have one sight words page to complete and will be working on their spelling list.
Tests: There will be a Math test on Tuesday, a Phonics test on Wednesday, and a Spelling test on Friday.
