It’s hard to believe that we only have two weeks left before Christmas.  The year is going by very fast, but we are having a great year.  There are lots of exciting things going on in Grade two this week.

Show and Tell

Students have been working toward a show and tell day.  On Friday they earned their last letter, so we will be having show and tell on Monday, December 6th.    Students may bring in an item of their choice to share with the class.

Baby Wipes

Our class is in need of some baby wipes.  If you would are able to send in one or two packages of wipes, please bring it in this week.

Cards For Geneva Villa

Students in grade two have been working hard to make cards for the residence and staff of Geneva Villa.   In past years, we have been able to visit the Villa to sing and read to the residence.  This year because of restrictions, we are not able to visit in person.  We will be finishing up making the cards this week to be delivered to the residence in time for Christmas.

Christmas Outreach

This is the last week to send in items for school-wide outreach to the seniors at the Prince Edward.  Grade two is asked to bring in stuffed animals, baby dolls, and teddy bears. This is a great opportunity to teach your child about giving by using some of their own money to purchase items for the seniors.  If you have anything to give, please send it in with your child tomorrow.
