Dear GCS Grade 6 Family,
We have two weeks of class left before Christmas!
This week we continued our study of the Canadian Government and its structure. Students were introduced to the Government Scrapbook major assignment for this quarter. Each week students will complete one part of the scrapbook to demonstrate their knowledge of what they have learned in class. Near the end of the quarter, students will submit this assignment. I am looking forward to this project!
Below is a list of assignments and assessments for the upcoming week:
Assignments:
Daily Math homework (checked on Thursdays)
Language Arts: BB Ch 6 → read and fill in double-entry journal due for Monday
Social Studies: #1-3 of Government Scrapbook assignment due for Monday
French: Your house diagram with 10 new house verbs and everything labeled in your house. Due for Tuesday.
Assessments:
Math Quiz – Wednesday, December 9th
Bible Verse Quiz – Thursday, December 10th or Thursday, December 17th
Spelling Quiz 12 – Friday, December 11th
