Dear GCS Grade 6 Families,
We officially started quarter 3 this week! Thank you to all parents for your investment in your child’s learning in the first two quarters.
In Math this week, we continued with our graphing unit. Students learned how to read bar graphs and draw bar graphs.
In Social Studies this week, students were instructed on what their completed Government Scrapbook assignment should look like in order to attain the best marks possible. Students should spend plenty of time this weekend ensuring that they have answered all the questions on their scrapbook assignment sheet and make edits as necessary. Some students have not made edits after their weekly checkpoints, so their homework load will be much greater than normal this weekend.
