Hello Parents, 

We had a great first week back after break.  I am looking forward to the weeks ahead as we continue to learn together.  Please take note of the following regarding our Grade Two class this week. 

Dressing for the Weather

Just a friendly reminder that all children should be coming to school prepared for outdoor play.  Please ensure your child has a hat, two pairs of mittens, a warm jacket, snow pants, and boots. 

This Week in Grade Two

Language: Students will continue the parts of speech unit where they will  lean about adjectives, adverb and interjections.

Math: Students will review carrying and time to the hour, half hour, quarter after and quarter to.  Students will  learn  one 1/2 hour, 1 hour, and 2 hours later or earlier.

Social Studies: We will continue our study of the Great Lake – St. Lawrence Region.
