Dear Grade 1 Families,
We are down to two weeks! Wow! Time flies when you are having fun. We are looking forward to another great week as we spend time reviewing many concepts we have learned this year. We will also be learning a bit about perimeter, adding numbers in the hundreds, the 13 subtraction family, and the North West Territories.
We completed our last spelling test last Friday and students won’t have homework over the next weeks. Please make sure you return all library books this week. Students won’t be taking out new books this week. If you haven’t already, check the GCS YouTube channel to watch the Grade 1 and 2 dance performance, make sure to take a look. Keep an eye out for field trip information coming home this week!
Friday, June 10: Grade 12 Graduation
Thursday, June 16th: Family Fun Day (NO SCHOOL)
Friday, June 17th: School Closing Ceremony (School closes at noon)
As always, it is a blessing to spend each day watching our wonderful group of Grade 1 students learn and grow. Have a wonderful week!
