Dear Parents.

I hope you’ve been able to enjoy this beautiful weekend! It is hard to believe, but we are two weeks away from summer break! Time flies. We had a wonderful trip to Island Hill Farm on Thursday. Check out Seesaw to see some pictures from that day. We were able to interact with bunnies, alpacas, two-week old chicks, sheep, goats, and much more.

We finished our last spelling test last week and will be doing our sight words work in class. There will be no more homework for this year other than continued reading practice. This week we will be finishing up the last of our studies of all the provinces and territories of Canada. We will also be learning a few new special sounds, working on writing paragraphs, identify elements of a story, and reviewing some of the other concepts we’ve learned this year.

Homework: No more homework of this year! We will be finishing up our sight words work in class and there will be no more spelling tests this school year.

Tests: Student will have their last Phonics test on Wednesday and last Math test on Thursday.
