Dear Parents,
This week we will be doing quite a bit of review as we come to the end of the quarter. We will be learning some new special sounds, adding 4 numbers, exploring the province of Quebec, and focusing on the good news of Easter.
Homework: Students will be completing a sight words page, a telling time practice page, and will be working on their spelling test. Please note homework will be due on Thursday.
Tests: Students will have a Math test on Tuesday, a Phonics test on Wednesday, and Spelling test Thursday.

- Friday, April 2 – Good Friday (No School)
- Monday, April 5 – Easter Monday (No School)
Food Drive
Some of our high school students are hosting a food donation drive for their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Residential Project. They are challenging each class to bring in as much food as possible. There will be a grand prize for the class that donates the most! The food drive will be Wednesday, March 24- Thursday, April. If you would like to participate some suggestions are below.
Top five needed items:
- Canned meat
- Canned fruit
- Canned vegetables
- Soups
- Beans
Other items that are also permitted:
- Pasta (canned or dry)
- Pasta sauce
- Rice (dry)
- Crackers
- Rolled oats
- Applesauce
- Juice boxes
- Granola bars
- Baby food
- Cereal
- Powdered milk
- Peanut butter
Please do not bring fresh or cooked food, opened packages, or expired food.
