Dear Grade 6 GCS Family,
We had a great (short) first week of quarter two.
In Math, students continued with their fractions unit and had their first fractions quiz on Wednesday.
In Social Studies, students paired up and began a study of different World War Two battles.
Our next week will be a short one as well!
November Numeracy Challenge
Grace Christian School elementary students will have the opportunity to participate in the Mathletics November Numeracy Challenge from November 15-21. Students will participate in online math activities through Mathletics and receive points for their hard work. Students’ contributions will help GCS be ranked worldwide.
Usborne Literacy Fair
It is time once again for our Annual Usborne Literacy Fair. This event has typically allowed our school library to receive hundreds of dollars worth of books for free. The fair will be running throughout this week into parent-teacher conferences. Please be looking for a further announcement that will provide more details for placing your order.
