Dear Parents,

Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you so much to so many families who generously donated to the Knight’s Harvest. We are surrounded by such an incredibly supportive community. You are a blessing! This week we will be learning many new phonics special sounds, calendar concepts, identifying greatest and least numbers, solving story problems, and much more. Library day is tomorrow, so please send students with both their school library books and their Super Reader Library books. Tomorrow is also Jersey Day. Students are welcome to wear hockey jerseys or shirts if they have them.

Homework: Students will be preparing for Friday’s spelling test (list #3 sent home on Friday, Oct. 8), and will be filling out one sight words page and a penmanship page.

Tests: This week students will have a math test and rhyming words test on Wednesday, a phonics test on Thursday, and a spelling test on Friday.

Birthdays: Students are welcome to bring in some cupcakes or treats to share to celebrate their birthday. Due to health guidelines, baked goods need to be purchased not made at home. There are 12 students in our class.

Have a wonderful week!

Miss Kennedy
