We had a wonderful Science and Tech week last week. We participated in many fun learning activities. It was great to see so many students participate in the Dress Like a Scientist Day. It is such a pleasure to watch how much each student has learned already this year.

Tests: This week students are studying their spelling list for their test on Friday (sent home last Friday). There will also be a Letters and Sounds test on Wednesday and a Math test on Thursday.

Homework: It has been wonderful to see some many students returning their bookmarks and recording their reading time. As always, we recommend reading for 15 minutes a night. The more you practice with your little one, the better. Students will be working on their spelling list, 2 penmanship pages, and one sight words page this week. Homework is not due till Friday, but students are welcome to return it anytime.

Library: Library books need to be returned on Wednesday at the latest to ensure your child gets to take out more books.

PLEASE NOTE: We are asking that all elementary students come to school dressed in a dark bottom and a plain white top on Wednesday, October 28.  We are planning to film a specific outdoor scene for our online Christmas concert during the school day. If the weather is inclement, we will film on Thursday, October 29.  We are looking forward to beginning production.
