Week of Oct. 28 Grade One
We had a great time at That Fun Place last week! The teachers had a great time at the convention and learned many new strategies to enhance learning in the classroom. This week we will be having our first spelling test on Friday. The spelling list and homework will be sent home on Monday. Please return the bottom portion of the sheet on Friday and indicate which four activities you did with your child at home. We will be taking a break from our sight words homework while students adjust to having weekly spelling tests. Students are working on Bible Verse #2.
I am looking for some large, empty coffee cans for a special project for our Kindergarten music students. If you happen to have some you could bring in to school, we would be very grateful for the help!
