Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has spent time enjoying family, friends, and God’s beautiful creation this weekend. I am so thankful to be able to work with each of your children again this year! This past week we finished our review of grammar standards from grades 3 and 4 in language class. In math we began our study of measurement. Take note below of important information, assessments, and important dates.
Cross Country (Happening Tomorrow!)
On Tuesday, October 12th, Grade 5 students will be participating in another cross country event for ACSI Eastern Canada. Please have students come prepared with water bottles and running clothes.
Hockey Jersey school spirit day at GCS
With the 2021-2022 NHL season starting this week, students may come to school tomorrow in their favourite team’s jersey. If you do not have a jersey, hockey team hoodies and t-shirts are welcome.
Kindness Week
This week, in our grade 5 classroom, we will be focusing on showing kindness to others. We will be completing random acts of kindness throughout the week and having discussion about showing respect and leading in kindness.
