Welcome back, GCS family!

The 2022/23 school year begins next week! For those of you who do not know me, my name is Mrs. Misty Bouter. I am truly thrilled and honored to be entrusted with your children’s educational development for my eighth year of teaching at Grace Christian School. I look forward to encouraging their spiritual, academic, emotional, physical, and social growth and seeing how God will work in their lives!

Our theme verse for this year is:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 15:13

How incredibly wonderful to know that we worship a God who is the Source and generous Giver of hope, joy, and peace!

First Day of School

Our first day of school will be Wednesday, September 7. Drop off for elementary students will begin at 8:35am. Class begins at 8:45am. Parents are asked to stay inside their vehicle and to drop off their child in the drive-thru drop off zone only. Grade four students will enter and exit through the doors at the end of elementary wing facing Kirkdale Rd. The elementary school day concludes at 2:45pm. Parents are asked to pick up their child promptly, once again using the drive-thru drop off/pick up zone.

Please send in all necessary school supplies on the first day. A list of school supplies needed for grade four can be found here: https://www.gcspei.ca/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Supply-List-Gr.-4.pdf

Please note that masks are not required this year for school, although students still have the option to wear one if they so choose.

Students will need a lunch box containing a healthy snack (no candy or pop), healthy lunch, and drink in a spill-proof container.

Class Schedule

Students will be given a paper class schedule to put into their agendas.  Students will also be given one to take home.
