Happy Saturday, GCS family. Please take time to check out the following announcements:

A friendly reminder as children grow…

*Please send in extra snacks.

*Please look over your children before they leave the house that their clothing fits them properly.  I know this may seem like an odd request…

I believe some children are choosing their clothes from last year, to dress in…and they are not fitting as they have in the past. This does cause distractions in class as you may imagine…  thank you for your help with this delicate matter.

Move Up Day at GCS

This Tuesday is our Move Up Day at GCS.  If your child will be attending our school next year, they will participate in a move up time during school from 9:00-11:00. Your child will attend the classroom and visit next year’s grade 1 teacher if they are currently in Sr. Kindergarten or stay with Mrs. Squires and me if they are currently in Jr. Kindergarten.  This time is dedicated to experiencing what it will be like next year as a Senior Kindergarten or Grade One student.  There is nothing different for you to provide for your child.  Send in the regular snack and lunch as usual, and the rest is up to us.

*If your child will not be attending GCS next year and you want to send them to school on Tuesday, May 28th, there will be someone to care for them during these two hours.

Upcoming Week:

Tuesday: Move up day

Friday: Show and tell (student’s choice)
