Happy Sunday everyone,

I trust you had a nice weekend so far.

Looking forward to another sunny week this week.

In phonics class this week we will introduce the letter “Aa” which will complete our 5 short vowel segment.

In number skills, we have counted from 1-10 and began using patterns to determine what comes next…

In science class we made apple sauce with Mrs. Squires and that tied in to our community helpers class by learning about some jobs a chef can do.

This week the students will each vote on a new community helper job to investigate. The helper with the most votes gets investigated first.

With fall in the air, I love to introduce the children to Canada wildlife. Canadian Geese and their habitat are the first creatures we will explore.

Last week I mentioned about the practice library book for the children to return this week. I apologize as they did not go home with your children…

Dates to remember:

Monday October 11th:  No School Thanksgiving

See you in the morning.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Laura Perry
