Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

My company has just left…we are all full from eating a beautiful meal…nothing left but the dishes and I think I will leave them until tomorrow…we’ll see.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating with your family.

We are so thankful for you and for the many donations sent in to GCS last week for our Knights Harvest. What a blessing.

The children took home a grey zippered work bag that contained their work from the previous week. Please remove the contents and return the grey pouch with your child tomorrow.

Your child took home their first library book from school last week.  They were so excited.  Some children said it was their favorite book from last year… you parents might get to memorize these books if they keep choosing their favorite ones again, and again…

Please return library books by Wednesday.

In the next weeks we have student birthdays to celebrate in class.

The Early Childhood Education Department requires baked goods to be purchased from a bakery or grocery store in order to be served to the children. Each year parents bring in small cupcakes to be shared with their classmates. We will be happy to serve these treats on your child’s birthday if you send them in.  If you have any questions please email me or call the school and I would be happy to chat with you about it.

With the weather getting chillier out please make sure your child is dressed for outdoor play each day. Even a pair of mitts and a hat in their kit bags would be helpful.

Looking forward to a great week.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Laura Perry
