Hello Families,
We had a fun week with our Dr. Seuss theme. Today we made a graph using the fish crackers that were sent in. Thank you for the fun activity!
Our new VIP will be our friend Zac!
Next week Mrs. Biech has planed a Love Of Reading Week for us.
For Elementary:
Monday – Make Your Mark – students will be colouring or creating bookmarks to keep their page in their favourite books.
Tuesday – Character Parade – students are encouraged to “parade” into school as a character they love.
Wednesday – Wild About Books – students can bring a “wild” (stuffed) friend to school with them.
Thursday – Diary of a “Book” Worm – students are asked to bring in books they enjoy to show their classmates.
Friday – Sleepyheads – students are able to wear their pjs and take in a favorite bedtime story.
We have been working on cvc words that end with a double consonant such as: bell, mitt, egg, off, etc.
This week we will introduce telling time to the half hour.
