Hello Kindergarten Families,

This week marks the end of first quarter in Kindergarten. The time has passed by quickly and Mrs. Squires and I are enjoying the days we spend with your sweet children. Ohhhh the stories! (I’m sure you hear some too!)

Weather:

November is a month of changing weather…sometimes wet, cold, warm even snow. Please send in layers (sweater, hat, mitts) for your children to be ready for recess.

*even 2 pairs of mittens because often the first pair is still wet by afternoon recess.

Operation Christmas Child

Shoe Boxes are going home today for Operation Christmas Child.

occ@samaritan.ca.

**Please remember to add the $10.00 shipping fee to the box.

Our community is very generous with our money and our time. At Christmas time there are many areas of need, beginning with our own families. If this is too much of a strain on you as a parent, please understand in no way do I want anyone to feel they are required to fill the box if this is undo-able for you as a family. Instead, if you would like to send in 1 new item or money to contribute to the shipping, we can add it to our classroom box.

Scholastic Reading Club

This week, your child will bring a Scholastic Reading Club Flyer home. If you wish to order any books our code is: RC189854

Here is a link to online choices if you wish to look further.

Orders will be collected up until Wednesday November 17th 2021.
