Welcome to a new year with a fresh dusting of snow…

Thank you Kindergarten families for the lovely gifts and cards and kind words you expressed to Mrs. Squires and myself. We appreciate you all very much. We hope you were able enjoy the Christmas season in spite of the changes we continue to face this year.

Mrs. Squires and I were in the classroom this past weekend getting things ready for our wee students. Christmas is gone and we are ready for winter and arctic themed activities for your children to enjoy.

You may have children excited to get back to class and see their friends. OR you may have children very reluctant about coming back to school after so much time at home…This is very normal every year. You are not alone. Holidays are over and we are back to routine.

Please be sure your children have winter boots, 2 pairs of mitts, a hat along with snow pants and a winter coat.

Things to watch for this week include:

Monday: Music, Gym, vote on an Arctic Animal to investigate

Tuesday: Mrs. Arthurs story time

Wednesday: Chapel, Music and Show and Tell for the Junior Students

Thursday: Library and Art

Friday: Gym and Show and Tell for the Senior Students

Looking forward to a great week together.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Laura Perry
